The Borouge 2 project is nearing completion in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, BS Stainless supplied their branded BS thermal products manufactured in the UK for the petrochemical project. BS Stainless specialise in the supply of stainless steel banding, wing seals, tying wire, fixings and metal jacketing. All products for this project where supplied within budget and on time to the contractor. This highlights the advantage of being able to work with a manufacturer who has full control of both the quality of the products and the logistics rather than through a third party. The recently announced third project for Borouge by the joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (Adnoc) and Borealis, has again selected Bechtel to provide project management consultancy (PMC) services. As a result BS Stainless will be in a strong position to supply stainless steel banding for Borouge 3 when it commences.
BS Thermal offer a full range of Stainless Steel Banding 1/2" (13mm) 3/4" (19mm) and 1" (25mm) from stock in both Bright finish (BA) and a matt finish (2B) other widths can be produced to order within short lead times typically 16mm, 40mm , 50mm 75mm and 100mm. All materials are produced in catch weight coils (approx 15kg - 25 kg coil )although specific weights can be produced to order when required, all are palletised and shrink wrapped. Material is stocked in noth 304 (1.4301) and 316L (1.4404) other grades can be supplied to order.
In addition they supply stainless steel banding in oscillated coils or with a variety of safe / de-burred edges, if required these can be packed in individual boxes.
